Clonemade is operated by GameChangeAI LLC, a California limited liability company. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. Plain language, no tricks.
The clone builder runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent anywhere and are not stored by us unless you choose to submit the form saving your clone request. Email delivery is not available yet.
What we collect
- Your email address and optional first name, when you submit a clone request. An email and password are also used when you create a member account through Netlify Identity.
- The answers in your clone document, but only if you submit that same form. The document travels with your request for storage and support. The form does not send email.
- Membership and billing references, including your account ID, Stripe customer ID, checkout reference and subscription status, to provide paid access and billing management. Card details are entered directly with Stripe.
- Basic traffic data collected by our hosting provider, such as pages requested and general location. We do not run advertising trackers.
Do not put payment card details, government identification numbers, health information, or information about children in your clone. Payment details belong only in Stripe’s checkout.
Why we collect it
- To save the clone request you submit and respond to support requests.
- To confirm member accounts, recover passwords, provide paid resources and manage subscriptions.
- To understand which pages people find useful so we can improve the site.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to data brokers.
Who else touches your data
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and send email. Each provider handles data under its applicable terms and privacy policy:
- Netlify, for website hosting, account sign-in through Netlify Identity, account confirmation and password recovery emails, and storing the link between your account and Stripe customer record in Netlify Blobs.
- Supabase, for storing submitted email addresses and clone documents in CloneMade's separate database.
- Stripe, for payments, recurring billing, receipts and customer billing management. We receive billing references and subscription status, not your full card number.
- An email provider will be configured before email delivery is enabled. The clone request form saves your request and does not send email. Account confirmation and password recovery emails are separate and provided through Netlify Identity.
We may disclose information if the law requires it. If that ever happens we will tell you unless we are legally barred from doing so.
What your clone document is worth protecting
Your clone contains your goals, your obstacles, and how you work. Treat it the way you would treat a private journal. When you paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any other AI service, that service receives it and handles it under its own privacy terms, not ours. Review the terms of whichever AI you use. Do not put anything in your clone that you would not want a third party service to hold.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep submitted clone documents for up to twelve months so we can help if you lose yours, then we remove them. Account, billing and security messages are separate from any optional marketing emails.
Member account and billing references are kept while needed to provide your membership and handle billing or support obligations. You can request deletion by contacting us. Providers may retain transaction records under their own policies and applicable requirements.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Email sam@gamechangeai.com and we will handle it within thirty days.
If you live in California, the CCPA gives you rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Exercising these rights will never cost you anything or get you worse service.
If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under the GDPR. Use the same address above.
Children
Clonemade is built for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Cookies
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. Netlify Identity uses browser storage and cookies to keep you signed in. The member library stores completion marks on your browser, keyed to your account. These marks are not sent to us. Our host may also use cookies to serve the site and prevent abuse.
Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection and access to submissions is limited to people who need it. No system is perfect, and we will not claim ours is. If we learn of a breach affecting your information we will notify you promptly.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will also go out by email to anyone on the list.
